Re: How to get a spotter or engineer to correct a mistake re 'address is unserviceable'

Hi Joseph,

Apologies for reviving an old thread. I’m in a similar position at the moment and wondered if you’d be able to help me get in touch with someone regionally who can visit to see the situation? Our neighbours have FTTP through VirginMedia and Gig1 as an option, and we have ducts already fitted to connect to the house, but we can’t order and get someone out to connect us because virgin doesn’t recognise our address.

Thanks!

Will

  • Hi @Zach_R. I'm in a similar position, would someone be able to shoot me a message to discuss further? Phone support are unable to help as property is on the system as unserviceable, but the rest of the street have fibre and I have the ducts already installed!

Sadly you’ll find VM are very poor at follow up an execution.
youll be passed between sales, pre-install and customer service… but they’ll refuse to actually sort out the problem
