Pre-Install Question

Recently ordered a Virgin Media package.
As is stated on the website, pre-install contractors have to visit before the actual installation date,

The other day when returning from being out, I noticed that the small drain looking cover outside my gate which says "virgin media" (very faintly mind you) on it was open, and there was some dirt surrounding the area. That day it had been raining, so I assume it was abandoned half way through.

My question is, do these contractors often visit more than once? I hope that the short visit earlier this week hasn't marked it on their system as "completed". Additionally, what times do they work from and to.

Regards.

  • Hi Internet82443 👋 Welcome to the community forum! Thanks for posting.

Depending on the case, some pre-installation customers will have a site visit to assess any works needing to be completed ahead of installation. There can be a number of visits or works needing completion ahead of full installation, depending on the site and circumstances. Sometimes these kinds of cases can involve third party contractors, council permissions or complex installation works with multiple engineers.

We are sadly a little limited in the support we can provide for pre-install cases, as we have a dedicated Pre-install team who manage these. They are able to liaise with all parties involved to ensure the installation is completed as quickly as possible. You can reach them directly via 📞0800 052 1734 if you need an update on your estimated installation date, or any further works needing completion ahead of this.

We hope that things go well and you are installed ASAP! Thanks for your patience in the meantime. 🌞
