Ongoing broadband outage

Looks like VM have given up keeping us informed about this outage we’ve had since Sunday Morning.

At 07:30 this morning, their website says “We hope to fix this by 26 February at 15:00”

EE can provide a comparable speed with FTTP and hopefully, a bit more reliability. It’s a gamble but we can’t have three or four day outages like this. I suspect this is going to be a popular move in the coming months by many VM customers. I’ll do some investigating on EE and their reliability and customer service and make the call.

    Check with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 If you have a VM landline 150 this goes down to post code level. You could also try the web page status, but this is not recommended as it only covers issues that affect a very large number of customers.
