New router
I have just renewed my M125 contract. They are sending a new router …do I really need to change the old one which is working very well ?

If a new VM Hub arrives you will need to install it as over time the existing VM Hub will become inactive.
Hi . I have just renewed my M125 contract with Virgin and they are sending a new router. Do I need to use it as it is the same speed broadband and the current router VMDG480 Super Hub is working fine. We only have two phones, an iPad and a tv running off it ! Tech phone so would rather leave the old one in !!

That model no. is for the Superhub 1 which has been obsolete for a long time. I imagine VM is trying to remove all of this old equipment and consolidate on its current range of hubs.
If you're worried about swapping wireless devices, rather than connect each device to the new router, change the WiFi details in the new router to match the old router and your devices will just switch over on their own once you turn off your old router. Remember, network names and passwords are case sensitive.
