Neighbour has fibre, but not us - can we request/pay for it?

We're currently enjoying 1GB broadband and full TV from VM, but need to move to a new rented property. At the new property we cannot get VM, although the house just next door has it. Is there any way we can request that the house gets connected??

We'd consider paying if that's possible and a reasonable amount. We're 6 adults and we're going to have a lot of demand, so I'm not sure the 60Gbps offerings from other providers is going to cut it ๐Ÿ˜ž

Really hoping there's a solution here

  • Hi Aragonsbeard ๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to the community forum! Thank you for posting.

Sorry to hear you are thinking of moving, and that our services are currently not available at the new property. You can use our postcode checker to see if services are available, but also to register your interest ๐Ÿ‘‰ Broadband Postcode Checker | Deals in My Area - Virgin Media . After entering your address details, there's a contact form you complete, and the team will get back in touch with an update as soon as possible.
You can also see more information about our network expansion here ๐Ÿ‘‰ When Will Virgin Media Broadband Be in My Area? | Virgin Media

Hope this helps, and that we are able to help get you connected ๐Ÿคž - thanks for your patience in the meantime! Wishing you all the best.

Is the property lease shorter than the minimum contract period (18+ months) with Virgin Media ?

Early termination of a VM service with 6 or 12 months contract remaining results in a costly termination fee.
