Need BT number ported To VM

Hi, recently changed over to VM but phone hasn’t been ported yet, it’s been over ten days

    Did you use OTS to arrange the switch, or did you do this yourself? 

  • Self install, all is working, just number hasn’t changed

      Did you tick the box requesting the landline transfer?

      If it was a copper line has that been disconnected?

      Welcome to the Community Forums. 

      Sorry to hear that your number hasn't ported. You mention you did this online, do you recall requesting the number port via the signup journey? Did you use One Touch Switch to also action a disconnection of your old provider, or did you call them directly and arrange the cancellation? 

      Is you're phone line working when you call the number you wish to port?

    Have you rang BT to see if VM have asked them to cease your service and port the number?  I know OTS is supposed to do this, but you never know.
