Moved home, account shows as closed

I have moved home and my broadband was supposed to be available at my new home today. It isn’t and I haven’t been able to speak to anyone at Virgin who can help me.

Logging onto my account shows my old address and a closed account. I need internet so I can work. Not impressed with the service provided.

    How were you expecting broadband to be available to you? Were you taking your existing VM kit with you and plugging into some existing VM cabling in your new home?

    Your account is attached to an address and will be closed when you move. You will be given a new account number at the new address. 

  • Yes I know this and informed VM of the move and was given a new account number. Was delivered a new cable at the new address. Still not working 3 days later and no one at VM will talk to me.

      We're sorry to hear your services weren't working after your house move. Checking things this end, it looks as though since posting, you've spoken to the team who have activated things and the internet should be working now.
