Move outside cable

Hi, I'm having building work done. My groundworkers need to move the cable and outside wall box. Where the cable currently crosses the boundary from the pavement into my property, the cable passes over the kerb, which is a trip hazard on public property (the cable was installed for previous occupiers). I'd like the cable run safely from the pavement, under the kerb and in approved ducting that my groundworkers are installing. Thanks!

  • Who removed the edging kerb that forms the boundary to your property?

The edging kerb is still there - there's some mud on it so not easy to see in the photo. The VM cable pops up from the tarmac pavement and passes over the edging kerb before crossing my property. The VM installers should have gone through or under the edging kerb before entering my land.

        Hello AntonyJ,

Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. We can help to get this looked into further from here and a visit arranged for the cabling to be correctly placed under the kerb. We would however need to pass account security to do that via private message that i'll send over in a few moments, please look out for it and we can get started.

        Kind Regards,
