I'm tidying up my cables (trying to), and whilst I don't want to move my modem, I need to extend the Coaxial cable by about a meter, 2 at most so I can bring it up and over the built-in wardrobe unit and back down into the modem.
Would I just be able to get the Coaxial cable myself off Amazon with a coupling or would I need to book a Virgin Media Technician to do it and increase the input to meet the extended length?
VM staff should be able to send you a replacement cable. I believe they can send you a 3 metre length.
Wait for a VM person to pick this up. There are substitute cables advertised as being suitable, but they are not the same.
