Hub 5 won’t go to Modem Mode

I recently went away and noticed my vpn to my house stopped working whilst away. When back I checked all settings and found my hub 5 had returned to router mode for some reason. I logged onto it on 192.168.0.1 and tried to change it back to modem mode however it does not seem to want to take the setting. It does not reboot and just sits on the applying settings page. I can refresh 192.168.0.1 and it takes me back to the settings page with router mode selected. Have virgin disabled modem mode. It’s a standard hub 5 . Not a fiber one. 

  • Try a full reset (Pin hole press for 30 seconds).

    I use a Hub 5 in modem mode myself, so I don't believe it's been disabled.

    Hi Joerp123,

    Thanks for your post and welcome back to the community.

    Sorry to hear that your Hub will not change into modem mode, can I ask with the above advice, did this help with matters at all?

    yes full reset has allowed it back to modem mode.
