Hub 5 with RFoG box?

hi!

truthfully, i have no idea what im doing - ive just recently moved into a new place, and there appears to a box with a label saying RFoG Optical Network Unit on the wall next to the preinstalled virgin media box. 

looks like this:

when i try connecting my new hub 5 to this, it just keeps flashing red 😭 it came with just the cable plugged in on the right, a power cable, and the hub itself.

there is little to no information online and im really struggling to contact anyone from VM, i’m just wondering are these things compatible? should it be working plugged in here or does something need to be changed?

  • thank you so much 😭 we ordered one and now it’s working. the previous tenant must have taken it with him. i feel so stupid haha!
