How to remove old Virgin Media Box & Cables

Hi,

I've seen a few threads with the same topic, but no answer as to whether these can be removed...

I'm no longer a VM customer but the old box and cable are still attached to the front of my property.

Unfortunately, due to weather & time (& poor installation), the cable has become a tripping hazard across the pavement outside my house and the box has fallen apart on the house wall.

(I'm attaching photos.)

Is there any way to get in touch with Virgin to have these removed, or can I cut the cables and rip them up myself?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

Given that is an obvious tripping hazard, placed under what appears to be steps, VM may offer to remove it for you. If not, it's a DIY job.

A VM person should reply here in due course.

      Hi @goslow,

Thank you for your response and for the information! (I did think it looks like a tripping hazard.)

I hope I'll hear from someone at VM soon.

      Cheers,

      Helen :)
