How to actually speak to somebody at Virgin?

I have been trying to speak with somebody about arranging an engineer to visit to install a cable so I can get broadband and they seem like the most impossible company to contact. Is this a sign of their customer service? Should I go elsewhere?

  • Virgin Media are the worst company in the world.  I think it is official.  Google a little about how their customer service is rated and you will find it there. 

    I have now had my virgin broadband installed (after a 73 day delay) and yet I have engineers coming weekly to install it again.  You will NEVER find an agent who can help.  Even if they make a promise it will be broken.  The agents in India have no way to communicate with the engineers in the UK.  The agents are merely there to field calls - they do not actually action anything.  Virgin is a broken company. Sorry to inform you - the internet service is good, but the company is bad.

    You can only wait. They will come when they are ready, or not at all. 

  • If you have other FTTP ISPs available and you are using broadband only, 100% use another supplier.
