Help - serviceable?

I would like some help please as I’m confused when I go on website to put my postcode in it comes up with a few address but not mine and when I contact virgin they say there’s no cables installed directly to that address which means your address isn’t serviceable is it because I live in a ground floor two bedroom flat or not if someone could let me know as it’s obvious virgin is in my area but it’s just not letting me get services with them

[MOD EDIT: Subject title changed for clarity]

If you are in any kind of communal building where wayleave agreements are required for VM to cross non-council property to get to the front wall then the address will not be included in the database. Is there any land between the pavement & your wall & do you own it? Are the flats run by a management company or otherwise? Wayleave agreements will be needed from them before VM will consider you as serviceable.

Disregarding the adjacent house... does anyone else in the block of flats have a current VM connection?

If not - expect it to be problematic as nodrogd implies.
