Damaged doors

Hi the install engineer damaged my patio doors and VM agreed to replace with new doors which have arrived but when it came to installing them they are the wrong size and are now saying they cannot get the correct size so I am now stuck with patio doors on my garden and no resolution moving forward. Does anyone know who I could ring or email regarding this matter please.

Who have you been dealing with up to this point?

The usual pattern for a 'property damage' query on here is that the customer waits a very long time for little/nothing to happen by way of action from VM.

  • I’ve been dealing with the area manager for my area they have fixed all the other damage done to property just my doors to go, it’s the outside company who have now said they can’t get doors to fit although I have had a company local to me been and measure and gave a quote to do it.

Well, FWIW, I would suggest you try to go back to VM using your direct contact info for the area manager.

What normally happens on here in property damage topics is that someone from the VM forum team replies and says they will pass on your complaint to the area manager so your issue may just end up back in the same place only via a longer route to get there.

A VM forum person should reply here, usually within a few days.
