Hi I’ve just got my virgin media kit and have set it up but the only thing in my house for connection is to wires together with screw bits on end. Why is there two and how can I use it??

Hi shellydy👋Thank you for your post and welcome to the Virgin Media Community 😀

If you could please share some photos to clarify what you mean exactly, that'd be much appreciated.

    Regards,
    Daniel

maybe sharing knowledge would help or do you not have a clue so kick the can down the road - whilst photos will help what the user describes is sky shotgun cable - when fitted assuming there was a VM cable they cut and removed that to feed their cable through the existing hole - just as VM do when the install is the other way round

so to the OP - search for an external VM wall box - usually brown or grey and follow any cables from it inside and see if there are any in other places or if as suspected shy have done their usual trick and cut it

there you go Daniel a more complete and [i suggest] helpful answer rather than the stock one you gave

Hi Tony, I think it is a Sky double barrel wire as I’ve since found a virgin media box in my living room but it doesn’t have the right wire coming out.

No problem I’ve attached a picture. I actually found a box but it has a lead coming off it.

A double coax cable each with F-Plugs is what we have from our SkyTV dish.

not sure what wire you are showing there - the green end looks like a fibre connection rather than coax - what is your area - fibre or coax from the box - what hub have they sent - post a few more photos showing all the internal wiring and one of the external box
