Can't get Virgin media at my house but neighbours can

Title says it all.

I live at number 6 and number 8 is getting Virgin Media installed on the 4th Feb. I have called and found out that number 7,8,9 and 10 can all receive virgin media.

I have left contact info and never had a call back, this has happened several times, I have called and spoken to sales and the only answer is 'the computer says no'

Surely if 4 of my neighbours can receive 2gb broadband then virgin could branch off to my house next door? The highest speed I can receive here is 55mbps. It's seems crazy that 10 metres beside me can get 2gb and there is no way of Virgin getting that to me.

Amy help / advise would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi simickle,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the Forums. It's great to have you on board with us in the Community and even better that you are wanting Virgin Media services.

We're sorry to hear we're not available at your address currently. This can happen due to the way we provide our network. It's not as uncommon as you'd think to have some houses able to have a VM service, but others not. We're happy to find out if there are any current plans in the making for your address though. To do that I will need your full address. I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊

    Thanks,
