Can anyone help
I signed up to virgin media broadband, they sent me a kit to set up myself, I have the kit, I’m paying for the broadband but I can’t set it up as I have no virgin media box to plug the kit in to, there is one outside in pieces with cut cable that is grey that says ntl on but nothing inside.
I have spent so much time, in fact my entire day today on the phone to them but no answer, I’m on hold, it just holds me for hours until I have to come off it to do something important, I’ve tried live chat but it’s only ever a bot, it sends me to WhatsApp which I’ve messaged various times but no response, I’ve texted a number I found on here but no response.
I have no other broadband so I’m completely without and I’m paying for this one so I can’t afford to get another broadband contract out with a different company and it would be another hard search on my credit file.
I just feel like crying. I’ve moved in here, I can’t do my job, virgin media won’t help.
I cant even cancel it. Can I just cancel the direct debit? What would happen? I desperately need broadband or I won’t have a job at this rate.
