Cable runs past my house - how do I get connected

Hi - The Virgin cable runs around the outside of my property on 2 sides a few metres from my boundaries. Many of the neighbouring properties show as available on the postcode checker, but not mine - I suspect as it was an infill development a few years ago and records haven't been updated. My current Openreach BB connection is coming to end of contract, can someone contact me to see if I can get connected ?

  • Try calling the pre-installs team on 0800 052 1734, they may be able to send a spotter out to investigate.

If you are able to get VM, do not cease your existing BB supplier until VM is actually installed and running.  There are many posts here of failed and delayed installs, leaving users with no internet

Unfortunately, calling that number got me nowhere - just wanted to pass me to sales, who then dumped me back into a general queue - are there any VM employees on here that can have a proper look and have a conversation with ?
