I believe you can get pre-made co-ax cables in 5, 10 or 15 metre lengths. If you wait here a day or two a VM Mod should pick this up and discuss directly with you.

I do have to say the offer of just sending out a 15m coax does surprise me. That length will detrimentally change the power levels at the hub possibly to the point where it no longer reliably works.
15m of fibre, yes that’s fine, so I do wonder if this is a misunderstanding somewhere.

I’m just repeating the advice in this thread.

It's normally 3M if coax sent out. Other lengths require engineer visit to custom make them.

7-8db at hub 4 ods with splitter should be ok for 15m run ? Without splitter connecting 2 cables together for extra length 10 or 15m cable would save connecting 2 cables together at moment as one is a made up coax connectors not ideal

8 weeks later and still no vm mod ? still looking to relocate hub 5. is it meant to run very hot to the touch ?
- AdduxiVery Insightful Person
You can always ring VM and speak to an agent as well.
As for the Hub running very hot, that's not normal. Is it well ventilated?

Yes well ventilated only noticed once it was put back into router mode to use the WiFi pod that was sent out instead of a cable even the bqms all over the place compared to modem mode.
