I believe you can get pre-made co-ax cables in 5, 10 or 15 metre lengths.  If you wait here a day or two a VM Mod should pick this up and discuss directly with you.

It's normally 3M if coax sent out. Other lengths require engineer visit to custom make them.

7-8db at hub 4 ods with splitter should be ok for 15m run ? Without splitter connecting 2 cables together for extra length 10 or 15m cable would save connecting 2 cables together at moment as one is a made up coax connectors not ideal

  • 8 weeks later  and still no vm mod ? still looking to relocate hub 5. is it meant to run very hot to the touch ?

You can always ring VM and speak to an agent as well.

As for the Hub running very hot, that's not normal.  Is it well ventilated?

Yes well ventilated only noticed once it was put back into router mode to use the WiFi pod that was sent out instead of a cable even the bqms all over the place compared to modem mode.

  • Frequently getting sync fails on the logs twice a day then other days stable but never fully drops the connection just a large spike when gaming and continuously changing us channels never any post errors always seem clear
