Broken Fibre cable
During some DIY my wife kicked the cable out of the hub and broke the connection. Is this a standard cable from amazon or do I need book an appointment from an engineer?
Thank you

Looks like the above is correct:
Japitts makes a good point. If it is the main broadband cable rather than one of your own ethernet cables I note that you have tagged 5x. If you have one of the new 5x hubs it will have a special cable too (and it's possible both hub and cable need replacing here) so best to mention the 5x if/when you call VM.
When you phone just say "it broke". No need to tell them why.
Usually small things like this can be passed of as equipment failure & not customer damage, so will be fixed for free.
What cable is it that you've broken? Post a picture if you're not sure.
The co-ax should be replaced by VM, Ethernet can safely be done yourself.
You will find cheap "Virgin Media compatible" cables out there but I suggest requesting a no fault call out via customer services on 0345 454 1111 (£25).
