broadband issues in tameside manchester

trying to find out if this is a area issue or my connection, has anyone experienced Internet issues around hyde or tameside? connecting to the wifi but with no Internet access,

    I'm in Bramhall and don't have any problems with the broadband, I assume you are using mobile data to post this message. Have you got any flashing lights on your hub.

    Hi Thomas83 

    Have you used the /check-services/   function? You can also a run a test on your equipment from there. 

    If nothing is showing  you could also try the automated Service Status number  0800 561 0061.  This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.

      no flashing lights on the hub,done a full reset, I can connect to the hub but with zero Internet, checked the service page and no problems in my area, spoke to virgin and their going to monitor my connection for 24 hours

        Is this with all devices or just your TV box as you originally posted in the 360 forum.

    it's just come back on?? done a speediest and all looks good other that some jitter but have zero packet loss
