BQM Spikes on new XGS-PON connection

500Mb service went live last Thursday. BQM is spikier than my old FTTC. Normal? Or any suggestions?

    Hi All, it looks like they've changed it to 1 speed test every 12 hours (see spikes before 2pm and 2am below). This is perfectly acceptable to me. Complaint closed.

    I've since read it may be related to VM running speed tests which are unable to be stopped?

      Raise a formal written complaint to the effect that the pointless speed tests are rendering your connection unfit for purpose.

    So now VM WE have all the proof about this problem I give you four options. 

    1. Do nothing because you still think your right even after the proof your auto speed does cause problem.
    2. Disable auto speed test on a case by case basis
    3. Disable auto speed test for everyone and look at the problem it causes
    4. Give US modem mode on the hub 5x and on the 10Gb port

    which ever you think is easiest
