Address not showing on postcode checker but each my neighbours have Virgin Broadband

Hi there!

I want to switch to Virgin Broadband (from my existing BT) as BT is unable to provide high speed connections. However, my address is not shown but all my neighbours are shown and many of them have it. I desperately need a high speed connection, with Virgin as my first choice. Please may someone give some guidance on this.

PS: My house was split from a larger house in 2019, so has a 'A' suffixed with the door number. Could this be the reason!? I'm unable to contact anyone on the customer support number as it just asks for Virgin Account number.

    You could call VM Sales on 0800 183 1234.  But if this location has been marked by them as unserviceable you will be out of luck.

    VM do not use Openreach connections.

      Royal Mail has my door number. I'm not sure about Virgin Media - when I do "check availability" for my post code, my address is not shown in the "select address" list.

    The address may be causing the issue yes. Have you been able to check the Royal Mail link provided in this thread? Have you spoken to our sales team since posting?

    Please pop back to us when you can. We can raise this internally if the address is incorrect so please do let us know.

      Hi, thanks for the note.

      So I connected with the sales team today. They confirmed that they don't have my address in their system. The Royal Mail has my address, but VM does not. 

      The sales agent was only able to "register my interest" at this address. :=( 
      My current BT contract is expiring soon(in Oct), and I would grateful if someone can get my address added in VM's systems, enabling my broadband contract with them. I'm happy to share the address if that can be done.
