4 Days of service e outage and no explanation

Now on day 4 of Internet cutting out. Has been flashing res for last 2hrs. App gives no useful updates. Calling was just the phone bot. No updates, no planned work in the area, no help given or way to escalate.

Work remote and chose Virgin for reliability, but questioning that now.

    Try checking with Area faults on  0800 561 0061 or if you have a VM landline 150 as small local faults are not listed on the VM status page.   You will be due Compensation for complete loss of broadband after 48 hours of you reporting it.   If you are on a Residential contract, there is no SLA so if working from home is a priority, you really should have a backup connection in place.

      I will check with the fault numbers. As service returned for 30mins then gone again. Despite registering Everytine for updates on the faults there has been no communication on the status updates even when it returns. I have a back up hot-spot for work, but 4 days of continuous outages on the main faster line with no information is more the frustration.

      Also the policy of 48hrs I have heard nothing from the first 2 days of reporting and trying to get in touch.

  • Worked a bit in the evening but then what a surprise...Day 5! And It is Flashing red again, not information and just given another random fix time!

      We do apologise that you're currently being impacted by an area outage and that the estimated fix time has been pushed back. We can assure you it's not the level of service we aim to provide.

      We can see the estimated fix time is currently showing as 10am on Tuesday (11 March).

      If, by any chance, you're still no further forward by then and the estimated fix time hasn't been updated on the service status checker, please pop back to us on here.
