Offset mobile bill

When taking out a new contract Volt package, I was advised to take out a new sim plan and this can be offset against my total bill. How does this work please?

  • Hello Dogger64

Thanks for posting in regard to your recent package discussion, we appreciate you raising this via the forums and welcome to the community.

When taking the Volt deal, a SIM with O2 is included with the cost of the tariff removed from the Virgin Media package cost. More details on Volt can be found here.

  • Hello again, I have set up a new 24 month sim only plan and when speaking to a Virgin media agent he informed me that I had double data and broadband upgrade so no offset was possible. Am I still entitled to have my sim bill removed from my package cost and how should I go about it? Thanks

Hi Doggerd64, thank you for your response.

We could certainly look into this for you, but if we were to amend the package in any way, it could have an impact on the discounts we can apply and could ultimately lead to you paying a higher price.

If you'd like to discuss your package and the options currently available to you, we'd suggest calling 150 (free of charge) from a Virgin Media landline or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone.

The options you'd need to select are one, then four, then two.

      Regards,
      Daniel
