Won't let me pay online using card.

So I've been trying to pay my VM bill but suddenly it won't accept my payment method at all and it keeps being declined. I had a similar issue some years back but can't remember how I solved it. When I had that issue VM told me to contact my bank which I did but the bank just told me that it was an issue with VM and I needed to sort it out with them.

So here we go again and I'm so fed up of this mess. This is one of the reasons I'm looking to leave VM but right now I want to pay my bill. So does anyone know of a solution because I don't want them charging me late fees?

    Welcome back to our forums and sorry to hear you have been having issues when trying to process payment with us. We can understand the frustration caused and we want to do our best to help from here. Just to confirm, are you making payment as seen here? If so, are you getting this error on multiple devices? Is it a specific payment type you are getting this issue with or is this happening with multiple payment types?

      Hi,

      Yes, I have tried via computer and my mobile phone. It's an issue I had previously some years back and took forever before it started to allow me to pay for my bill online via My Virgin Media. This morning I paid my bill using the automated phone system which is a pain but at least that's an option. When I spoke to my bank about it they said it was an issue with Virgin Media and to speak with them about it. When I then spoke to Virgin Media they said it was a banking issue. I'm just trying to pay my bill via Mastercard and it's worked fine until this week. 

      It's just a pain.
