White wifi pods

Hi

I had a hub 5 supplied about a week ago, I won't bore you with all the problems I have had with it, but an engineer came today to sort it out  (hopefully all ok, need to check over the next few days) anyway he told me that the 2 white pods don't really work with hub 5's and as I have TP link deco system I'm better off without the pods.

So my question is what do I do with 2 white pods, will Virgin Media take them back? as far as I know I got them free with my package, so I don't want/need them any more.

Thanks

Lel

  • Hi lello

Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community. Sorry for the confusion over the Pods. I have two of the Pods and a Hub 5, so can assure you they do indeed work fine. Depending on your setup and if you have your own third party equipment, they may not be right for your setup is what the engineer would have meant.
I'll send you a PM now to get them removed for you, this will trigger packaging being sent to you to return them :)

It's probably semantics here.  The Hub 5 is Wifi 6 and the White pods are Wifi 5 so perhaps that's the misunderstanding?  However, as the OP has a 3rd party Mesh, the pods may not integrate into that Mesh.
