When do the changes happen?

Hi, downgraded my package on 16th April.  After having to ring as my bill came in at the old package price and not the new one, was informed that the order hadn’t been completed properly by Virgin.

After hopefully sorting this I was informed that the change to my package would take place at midnight but it hasn’t.  On ringing again today told the request had been put through.  

How long does it normally take for the changes to happen?

    Are you sure you downgraded your package?  VM probably have other ideas.

      That’s what I’m worried about.  I have a new contract from them with a reduced broadband speed and tv.
      On ringing the third time yesterday I was told that the request for the changes had been out through.

    We're sorry to hear that you're having some issues with a package change. When downgrading, there is usually a 30 days notice. This is something we can certainly check for you but in order to do that I'll need to confirm some information with you to pass security.
