what is a passKEY

I unfortuunately decided to link my VM account with my O2 on my mobile, and now when I try to loggin into website VM, it asks me for a passKEY?

What is a pissKEY  and why does it ask for this if nothing of the sort was ever created.

Now when I try to loggin onto my VM website page, it doesn't recognise my password, and then I need to go through an unecessary rigmarole, where I can't change my password, although wasting time it signs me in through verifying my email!!

Thanks. When I attempted to loggin to VM it wanted a physical item to be connected into USB port. If I didn't have such an item to create a passkey, why is it forcing it onto us users.

What I really want is to be informed how I can change then use my passWORD to loggin.

Hi Wasyl thanks for posting although sorry to hear of your issues signing onto My Virgin Media.

It is possible it could be your phone as your passkey so please give this a try and let us know how you get on.

        Many thanks

It maybe the phone is now your passkey?  You setup initially on the phone, so have you tried logging onto VM via your phone since?  Just a thought.
