VMO2ID Help

There are clearly issues people are having with setting up a VMO2ID, which appears to have been happening since Monday, as VM changed something then.

Fortunately, I was already in my webmail (using Safari on my iPad - not an app) for my main ntlworld email address, but I’m scared of logging out, because to get back in it will probably ask me to create a VMO2ID. My priority app is now asking me to create a VMO2ID, so I can only use that app via my O2 mobile number currently.

So, can someone please give me clear and proven to work step by step instructions on how I can set up a VMO2ID, which will still enable me to access my 3 ntlworld email addresses via Safari using webmail on my iPad - not an app, plus my VM account, and my priority app?

Thank you, because I am scared of doing anything in case it might lock me out of everything!!!

    Thanks Sabrina. I have now set up a Virgin Media O2 ID for each of my 3 ntlworld email addresses. Worked perfectly, easy to follow, can now access my 3 accounts and my O2 account, and my Priority Rewards app. Hurrah!!!

    If you have email access at present, I would suggest you archive off your email to elsewhere.  Use a non ISP supplied email service.  Yes, it's a pain, but will be worth it and you will be free to move ISP's without worrying about email.

    As for the VMO2ID, there are several threads here around that topic, some users having more success than others.  Good luck !!

    Thanks for reaching out to us, sorry to hear of the issues that you have been facing with your VMO2 ID, this issue has now been resolved and you will now be able to create and set this up. Keep us updated on this.
