Virgin Media keep asking for overdue payment despite the contract ending

My contract expired in January 2025. I have contacted VM to say that I'm moving to another broadband provider. Giving a 30-day notice. I have paid for the service (giving 30 days' notice) after cancelling the direct debit. 
They continue to request payment despite the contract having ended. Based on what legal aspect are they continuing to send me reminders for overdue payments, as I didn't renew the contract? I have sent the equipment back. My account number is [MOD EDIT: Removed]. I appreciate your consideration.
