Hi Matthew_ML,
I wanted to cancel my broadband during the 14 days cooling period (this was before the kit was delivered) because I could see deals online where the set up fee was free, but I was being charged which seemed unfair. When I chatted with the first customer care rep, I was told that they will send me the credit to offset the set up cost that was added to my first bill if I do not cancel. So, I changed my mind about cancelling.
To make sure it was documented, I saved the chat. This was very early in January. Since then, I have been chasing for the credit - gotten promises thrice that the credit would appear within 72 hours which never came.
