Unable to link Virgin Media account to Virgin Media o2 id
I'm unable to link my Virgin Media account to my Virgin Media o2 id due to the following.

I've requested that my registered email on my Virgin Media account to be changed to a new one as I no longer have access to my old email address. I've requested this both on online chat and via Virgins name change email service but one week on this still has not taken effect on the process for linking your account to your id.
I need to gain access to my Virgin account as I have just signed up to a new contract and need to reactivate my volt benefits on my broadband as the double speed has been switched off.
If this can't be fix so that I can gain access to my account I am seriously considering using my 14 day cooling of period and taking my custom else where.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
