Trying to close an account that has a fraud

Gm, i was a Virgin Media customer for many years prior to moving to the US but maintained my email @virginmedia.com . This account is now subject to a fraud but i only access it from my mobile phone and there appears to be no way to change the password to the account or delete the account and when i called Virgin media they could not even see the account even though i use it daily. Any idea who to call or how i would close the email account?
