The problem has been fixed but what was the problem?

Last week I had notification of a TV fault in my postcode, Fault Reference F012022105, which, apparently, has now been fixed.   However the nature of the problem wasn't specified so I am none the wiser.   The only problem I am currently experiencing is constant flashing picture on Sky Showcase Game Of Thrones, from episode 3 series 7 to end of series 8, and that is still happening.   All very odd.

    Dorsetdave​  Fault Reference F012022105 referred to an issue with signing into the Sky Sports app that some customers were experiencing.  Not all users were affected by it so you may not have noticed the fault.

    Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community. We're glad to hear the original issue was fixed. 

    The GOT one we're aware of and working hard to resolve this asap.

      Thanks for your reply.   Good to know the GOT issue is not a fault with my stream box.   I would still like to know the reason for the original fault though just to satisfy my curiosity.
