Stuck on hold for 2 hours

I am a customer of Virgin Media and they have not only been deleting my posts but not answering their phone all day. I am simply trying to reset my password so I can get into my account to book a home move but at this rate, I think I will be refusing to pay for services that are not being provided.

    Hi virgmediasucks

VM haven't been deleting your posts, however they are scattered across different forums.

You can see your posts are still there via your forum profile

VM do ask forum users not to post multiple threads on the same topic. This slows the forums down for everybody, tying up forum staff resources.

Have you tried the online moving home process?

The phone lines may be busier than usual today due to customers calling regarding current broadband issues.

When calling VM will need the memorable word from your account (telephone password) which is normally different to the account password.  If you don't input any details then the call may still be picked up by staff and they can ask other account related questions to verify you as the account holder.

Forum staff can send out a password reminder by post when they pick up your thread.

Have you tried to reset your account password via the following page?

  • Hi there,

We're sorry to hear you've been unable to reset your password and that you've been unable to speak with the team.

Are you referring to the memorable word needed to speak with the team?

Or are you trying to reset the online password to log into your My Virgin Media account here?

Please pop back to us when you can.
