Help with amber light stuck on media box
For past few weeks the media box has been playing up getting stuck on certain pages having to reboot router and Media box to access virgin channels - now the media box is stuck on an amber start up colour and cannot access any virgin channels only apps on the telly - says we have WiFi - the virgin app testing the status just times out and says oops that page has gone - any ideas feel it’s a WiFi to telly problem but have checked all connections

So just to clarify things are you saying the 360 box when you reboot it doesn't get much further than the welcome screen, if it doesn't get past that then you very possibly have a faulty box. If you want to rule out a wi-fi problem try connecting with an ethernet cable.
Have you checked for faults in your area, you can login to your My Virgin Media and check your service status at the top right of the page or phone 0800 5610061 for a more localised check.
