Sonos Soundbar give away

Hello,

I’ve recently seen articles online mentioning that Virgin has been offering free Sonos soundbars to new customers.

As someone who has been with Virgin for 29 years and has just renewed my contract, I’m a little concerned as to why long-standing customers like myself aren’t eligible for these kinds of offers. It doesn’t seem fair that loyalty isn’t recognised in the same way.

Could you please clarify this?

Thank you.

The 'free gift' offers are an enticement to attract new customers and therefore not available to current customers.   Companies generally offer such incentives at a loss and it wouldn't be financially viable to offer such enticements to current customers, however discounts are available depending upon your negotiating skills.

You would have received either a free gift or discounted new customer pricing (or both) when you first joined VM.   You would need to leave VM (for a minimum period of 3 months) and rejoin as a new customer in order to receive any similar new customer offers.

      Hi Korrupt,

Thanks for your post and welcome back to our community.

As with all providers, we do offer introductory offers and, on occasion, free gifts to new customers. At the start of all of our customers time with us they will have benefited from such a deal. Once this expires we'll always do all we can to offer the best existing customer deal available.

If you're an existing customer, you wouldn't be eligible for a new customer promotion.

We are sorry, we appreciate this won't be the answer you were hoping for.

If you have any further questions, please pop back to us and we'd be happy to help.
