Solid red light hub 3

We are having WiFi issues and the hub has a solid red light on it. It looks like the other discussions point to an overheating issue so I have fully powered off for 20 mins, have also tried reset button at rear but still no improvement. Speed to the hub is fine and signal strength of the WiFi is good but speed down to as low as 2mb when tested. Could you assist please.
