Very quick query.
If my current 18 month contract ends on 31st July what is the earliest I can call up to renegotiate without incurring any charges, ensuring I’m in a position to get the best deal and also making the most of the current contract period.

I usually called about five weeks before the end of the contact to say I'd be leaving at the end of the contract if the renewal wasn't suitable.
Mine ends on 31 July and I called today and got a good deal.
The best day depends on the deal you get - you could get a better deal making the sooner the better.
As said - the best deals are obtained when you go to cancel the service - don't ask for a deal!
