Renewal Deals

Why does it say on my account that there are renewal deals when there isn't? Renewal deals should be automatic without having to beg for one

This could depend on your definition of "renewal" - bearing in mind that VM's contracts are rolling ones anyway.

Most people will be on packages that have an element somewhere that is no longer sold, and thus a package renegotiation involves a change somewhere. Aside from that even, a re-contract involves recommitting to a new minimum-term.

Both these factors are not things that a provider can arbitrarily impose on customers without agreement.

  • Hello Darran71, and welcome to the Forums and thanks for getting in touch.

To have your package reviewed, please give the team a call on 150 from a Virgin Media landline or 0345 454 1111 opt 1, 4 and 4 again, this will get you through to the contracts team who will be able to look into this further for you.

    Kind Regards,

  • Unfortunately the only way to get the best renewal deal is to cancel the contract (you have to actually cancel, not just threaten to) at the end of its term (with 30 days notice) and be prepared to walk
