Did you confirm your cancellation 30 days before the 10th Feb?
- pmishaTuning in
hi, yes I did. The contract was ending then anyway, and I cancelled in advance.

It seems to be difficult to get the 30 days exactly, so there may be a slight time delay or something? If you have been overcharged then VM should pay this back via cheque.

thanks, but it is so difficult to contact them via phone or chat, and the web form to complain doesn't work either. I am so disappointed.

Hi pmisha
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Sorry to hear of your concerns with a bill you've received.
Billing will continue as normal until your disconnection is actioned, so depending on your billing cycle, you might receive a bill for dates past your disconnection date. However, once your disconnection is action, a final bill will generate for you which will show the service charges up until the disconnection date. Checking the systems on our side, this all looks to have been resolved for you. Please let us know if you are having any further issues or have any questions at all. We'll be here to help on the Community Forums if needed.

hi Carley, thank you for getting back to me. No it has not been resolved. I got an email saying if I didn't pay up within a day, I would get charged, so I did pay, but then checked my accounts, and the billing period is from feb 10-feb 27th, whereas my last day with virginmedia was feb 10th. Please can you advise how I can get the refund of £40? Thanks.
