Sold the business but kept line active until new provider has setup the broadband and telephone which is complete. My question is how long will porting take from virgin to new business's provider? Do I need to do anything on my side as new business has advised that their provider will deal with keeping the numbers (porting). I will submit my disconnection form asap.

We wouldn't be able to help any further with any business queries from here. Your new provider would be the best people to contact as they will submit your porting order to Virgin Media and they would also set the date not ourselves.

I'm afraid this isn't something we can answer. We only deal with residential customers via this platform and are unsure on whether the business timescales would differ.
As mentioned by Steven, please refer your questions over to your new provider and they'll be able to help further.
