Cancellation process

Your contract won't end on 27th February, that will be the date that your current discounts end and you will then be on a rolling 30 day contract.  You need to give a minimum 30 days notice to cancel your account (so ideally from 28th January unless you want to pay early termination fees).

(There is also an online messenger chat on the above page which is available during normal office hours.  You will need to allow browser popups to use that service)

You should select options 1,1, 4 and 4 when dialing 150 from a VM landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone, which should put you through to retentions (thinking of leaving) They have better offers than the front line agents and can also accept your cancellation request.

You can also use the correspondence method and send your leaving request by (signed for) post to: Virgin Media, Sunderland, SR43 4AA

You can also use the One Touch Switch process. (This method only cancels the broadband and landline connection, so if you also have a TV service with VM then you will also have to contact VM to cancel the TV part) There isn't  30 days notice period applied with the One Touch Switch process, however if you’re still in your minimum term period, then you will still have to pay an early termination fee. 

As part of the Switch process once the gaining provider has got in touch with the losing provider then the losing provider will then send information to the customer about leaving their contract. This includes info about the final contract date and any fees that might be owed for leaving early.
