Does anyone know how Virgin pay the previous provider's ending contract fee? I was promised this when I switched to Virgin from BT. Trying to speak to anyone on the phone is a joke! I've not received my first bill yet - will it be deducted from that?????
Oh I won't leave it at that don't worry! And I will get back the fee in 3 months for the lesser amount I'm paying. But its the principle really & its against Trading Standards law. I'm hoping someone from Virgin Media Team will get in touch. But I will be phoning/ texting the rep too until I get an answer. 😉

If you do get an answer from VM it will probably blame "confusion". That's their usual excuse.

I'm afraid you have learned an expensive lesson. You could try an official complaint to VM, but that will not get anywhere.
From memory, I’ve never seen any posts here showing VM buying out Contracts?

Who offered you the EDF pay-off as part of the VM deal? Was it a VM sales rep at the door by any chance?
