My direct debit due for payment today, 27 January, by direct debit. However, I noticed that the money appeared as having left my bank account sometime between 7:29pm and 11:15pm yesterday, the 26th with the 27th showing as the date of transaction.
This hasn't happened before in all my time with VM - any thoughts?
Should not before the date you get on your bill advice, part of mine below:
from your bank or building society on or immediately after 27 January 2025.
My payment came out of my account today.

We're sorry to hear the Direct Debit payment has left your account earlier than expected.
Unfortunately, there's very little we can do about this as payments can be collected by the bank anything up to a few days before.
