Pre contract and contract amounts totally different

Spoke to retentions today and got a price for a whole package, broadband, phone and TV. £122 per month for everything which i was happy with, she also said she would waive the £40 fee. While I was on the phone she sent me the pre contract to look through and it looked fine and so I went ahead, all equipment coming next week. 

Couple of hours later I've had a contract through with a price per month of £202 and a £40 charge? How has this changed so drastically from what she told me. No way I'm paying that. Spoke to someone on webchat who wasn't at all interested. Who can I contact?

  • When you say pre-contract, do you mean the Contract Information Sheet, or another document?

  • Pre contract documents which included a contract summary sheet with the correct £122 price

    Then an email saying All sorted take a sec to review your new package your virgin media contract with £202 on it
