Paying a bill from years ago that I have no access too

Good morning, 

I used to rent a property around 4 years ago and I currently accessed my credit file to apply for a mortgage. I sent my boxes etc back and was not aware I owed anything else it is now showing on the credit file that I owe £79. 

I do not have access to the mobile number from years ago and the address therefore I cannot get on to pay it. 

I have tried accessing the account via email and it does not work it states it is not an active account. How can I resolve this please?

please can someone help me resolve this as this is extremely damaging to my credit and it will not let speak to a human or use the chat and everything is automated.

    We do have an automated payment line  on 0800 064 3777 though.

    Quoting from a previous reply from several months ago as below;

    Name

    Account Holders Name

    Full Address where you had the services

    A photo or screenshot showing the Virgin error on your credit file

    They will investigate this and come back to you within 28 days.
