Paid bill twice

Hi, i paid my bill twice this month by accident as I paid though the mobile app and after card verification it timed out. So thought payment failed and went through the process again , when I looked at my bank there was 2 payments made . Can I get a refund? Thanks

    I believe VM do not do refunds, just add a credit entry to your account. Therefore you will not have to pay next month. Direct Debits are always the best and easiest way to pay.

    However what Tudor is saying is correct, otherwise it would just come off next months bill.

      Hi, yes i did phone and speak to someone straight after it happened, the operator said that the duplicate payment would be returned to my bank within 48 hrs. 

  • I cannot see how to post in this forum, apart from replying to a thread. Sorry to jump on it. 

    I only just joined Virgin and I paid my bill on 28th July (£131.98p) , I hadn’t set up a direct debit, yet they took another payment this morning for £131.98p. How can they do this? Money is tight at the moment and having another £131.98p come out of your bank is a shock.
